In 2004 the Streets of Brighton celebrated its tenth anniversary with Zap Art helping to make it a world class event. During the day the city gave up its famous North Laines to street entertainment with shows covering everything from spectacle to slapstick vaudeville, from dare devilry to comic buffoonery.
But it was at night that the city truly came to life with some of the festival’s most vibrant and explosive entertainment including, on Saturday 8 May, the world premiere of The Lazy Kings’ from Transe Express.
Behind the scenes, Robin Morley who had been the driving force behind Zap Production since 1985 left to set up a new consultancy and producing practice.
