Frenzee established itself in its Thursday evening slot promising nights of dance filled delirium and DJ Paul Ockenfield of London’s Trip and Spectrum clubs made two special visits to hit the heights of shooming.
Meanwhile, the Sweet Shop took over Tuesday evenings with sweet soul music, while Rhino “with solid beats to pump your feet at” dominated Fridays. Saturdays were reserved for cabaret acts such as the politically subversive Mr Nasty and major squeeze box comic Lyndsey Moran who turned self-depreciation into an art form.
