2nd Streets of Brighton
Reinforcing Brighton's reputation for eccentric entertainment, the second Streets of Brighton in 1996 kicked off with the first ever showing of the 'Cuckoo Clock' from Brighton company The Dream Machine.

On Friday 10 May the beach deck resounded to a dance spectacular 'Red Shoes' from another brighton company Tantrum. This was followed by more stilt magic, 'Fat Morgana' from Scarabus.

Concluding the Streets of Brighton was an aerial display from the internationally acclaimed trapeze artists Skinning the Cat. With stunning costumes and haunting music, 'Entrantress' was played out eight metres high on a shimmering silver tree.
